Partners in Mission
St. Matthews Maryland is supported by the Alpha and Omega Cluster of United Churches in Winnipeg Presbytery and the St. Matthews Maryland Anglican Consortium (Diocese of Rupert’s Land).
These congregations are committed to praying for our work and our guests. They raise awareness about the Ministry and our needs and contribute generously. Volunteers from many of our partner churches come to the drop-in on a rotating basis to serve as hospitality volunteers and to lead Nutrition Bingo and other activities. Our Emergency Food Cupboard is primarily stocked by the donations from these supporting congregations.

WestEnd Commons
In 2014, WestEnd Commons became home to 26 families. Formerly St. Matthew’s Anglican Church, the ground and upper floors were converted to housing when the building was sold to a not for profit housing society. A congregational space was retained on the ground floor. The Neighbourhood Resource Centre, on the lower level, is home to our ministry as well as several agencies that also serve the neighbourhood. From time to time, we partner with WestEnd Commons and others in the building on special projects.
