A program for women and their pre-school children.
Thursdays (9:15 to 11:15), September 17 to November 19, 2015
This is a new 10 week program designed to provide parenting support for women who are raising pre-school children. Women will explore topics relevant to a typical day with a pre-schooler, including Indoor Activities, Bed Time Routines, Dealing with the Difficult Child, Providing Nutritious Meals and Snacks on a budget, Self-Care for the Caregiver. A supportive, interactive style of instruction will encourage women to learn from one another.
Children are welcome and a team of childminders will provide care for them. For a part of the morning women and children will be together.
Each family will receive practical, take home resources. Each week a healthy snack will be provided for all the participants.
THERE IS NO COST TO PARTICIPATE. Registration is required however, as space is limited. Registration begins August 27.
Funding Support for this program is generously provided by Communities4Families and Sturgeon Creek United Foundation.
